Our client in the
electronics manufacturing industry is seeking an HR & Employee
Manager to originate and lead HR practices and objectives that will
employee-oriented; high performance culture that emphasizes
quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the
ongoing development of a superior workforce.
The HR & Employee Relations Manager is
responsible for the
development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of
organization’s business goals.
HR functions for the the US and limited support for
Canadian locations as well.
generalist HR support to assigned
organizations with all HR related activities, ensuring alignment to
journey, internal policies/procedures, employment law.
as liaison between managers and employees as
well as conflict resolution.
compensation and benefit
managers in job description creation
and analysis of positions ensuring strict adherence to internal
acquisition and recruitment efforts
associated with exempt and non-exempt positions as well as contingent
and forecast staffing needs and works
with managers to determine needs as well as keeping a pipeline of
applicants for positions and identifies
for hiring manager appropriate candidates.
any pre-employment training or
assessments which may be required.
Utilizes external resources as approved.
new hire process including offer and
acceptance, on-boarding, etc.
Corporate Performance and Development
Dialog (PDD) Program for specific organizations as assigned including
of managers and supervisors in preparing and presenting the annual
evaluations using the PDD.

organizations using Company approved legal counsel.
develops or acquires training programs
to be implemented according to needs, requirements and budget
direction of VP HR and Benefits Committee,
supports administration of various employee benefit programs and
related duties as required.
/participates in surveys as required.
in Business, Human Resources Management,
Psychology or other related field of study and a minimum of five (5)
experience in a professional HR position preferably in a similar
environment (biomedical, materials, nanotechnology, measurement,
manufacturing, sales, service, engineering, etc.)
be proficient in HRIS (ADP Workforce Now
preferred) and Microsoft Office (particularly excel and PP)
have specific experience in talent
acquisition in similar fields and with government contractors. Must have demonstrated
various candidate sourcing, evaluation, etc.
experience in employee development
be adept in presentation preparation and
possess superior communication skills with
ability to work well with all levels of staff.
