We are seeking a dynamic contract Human Resources Manager for our client in the developmental healthcare industry to cover a maternity leave.  This position will manage the HR department in the areas listed below. 

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, and terminations to include orientation, meeting with managers and team to ensure hiring needs are met as well as maintaining candidate and job postings.
  • Annual reviews and performance management.
  • Staffing training on safety, sexual harassment, HIPPA, and labor laws.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and oversee safety department.
  • Benefits administration and management including vendor relations, enrollment, changes, and communications.
  • Employee relations on a day to day basis as needed as well as investigations and resolutions.
  • Policy development for all HR related issues.
  • Staff records management.
  • Act as liaison between upper management, managers, and staff on a daily basis.
  • Quarterly reports.
  • Disciplinary actions and procedures.
  • Medical insurance applications and accreditations.
  • Partner with owners as needed on a day to day basis.

Requirements:

  • MA/MS in HR, Psychology, or social sciences
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience.
  • PHR/ SPHR certification required.
  • Superior organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Polished and professional as well as possess a firm and diplomatic personality.
  • Personal cell phone required.
  • Must have reliable transportation as well as current valid insurance.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, outgoing, patient, and eager to learn.

Compensation:

$30 to $35 Hourly
