Responsibilities:
Our client in the financial services is seeking a self motivated team player to fill the role of Sr. Training & Development Specialist. This position will assist with design, development, and implementation of training programs. Responsibilities will include the follow:
- Design and development of instructional materials
- Development of metric and reports to benchmark the value of training
- Analysis of training needs in all segments and organizations
- Partner with internal groups to determine best approach to current and future training programs
- Maintain close partnerships across HR function
- Management of relationship with third party groups
- Participate in training council
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in training and development; experience in Financial Services a plus
- BA/BS in relevant discipline
- Experience with design and deliver of Soft Skills training; conflict management, employee relations, coaching, communications, leadership, etc.
- Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communications both verbal and written
- Strong time management and prioritizing skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Works well in a team and independently
- Experience with EE Relations, Benefits, HRIS, Payroll, and Recruitment
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Lominger or PDI competencies preferred
- Certifications in DDI, DISC, MBTI and/or FIRO-B instruments.
Compensation:
$75,000 - $90,000
