Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintenance, changes, updates of the HRIS system, the development, analysis and reporting of Affirmative Action, EEO, compensation and other human resource related reporting requirements including data integrity, consistency, set up and analysis. Works as liaison between HR and IT on a variety of issues and projects.

  • Responsible for maintenance, set-up, changes, updates and corrections on HRIS
  • Act as functional expert for HRIS
  • Responsible for acting as lead or participating in a variety of Human Resources projects as well as projects at the corporate level
  • Provides day-to-day business-side project management of Deltek Costpoint HRIS, Deltek ESS and HRIS reporting
  • Research, identify and assist in the diagnosis of complex HRIS issues and make recommendations for improving efficiency and effectiveness within HRIS
  • Functions as the primary liaison between HR and IT, representing HR on a wide range of corporate technology initiatives
  • Assist in assessment of security design for HRIS
  • Compiles data and develops reports required for annual Affirmative Action Plan (AAP), EEO and VETS 100 and ensures that AAP components including job groupings, availability, factors and other data are accurate and defensible
  • Analyzes annual AAP and related reports and presents results to senior HR and management
  • Assists in administering various human resources plans, procedures and initiatives to include benefits, training, compensation, recruiting and staff development
  • Assists in developing goals, objectives and systems for the department and recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvement in the department
  • Provide back up for Benefits Administrator in entering data into HRIS, payroll and benefits administration
  • Responsible for staying informed of trends and changes related to recommended practices by the OFCCP, Department of Labor, EEO and other agencies
  • Oversees status, patch, upgrade, data integrity, and data definition issues for Deltek Costpoint HRIS, Deltek ESS, and Cognos Impromptu HRIS reporting systems
  • Leads the definition and development of the test phase for system patches, upgrades, or changes
  • Maintains and updates content for corporate intranet ensuring content and delivery method meet corporate standards as back-up for Business Integration Analyst
  • Complies with all applicable Group Security Policies and applicable Security Policies 
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • 3+ years experience in HRIS required
  • 2+ years experience as a human resources generalist with strong skill sets in compensation recruitment, employee relations, Affirmative Action, training required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently preferred.
  • High level of analytical and problem solving abilities required
  • Must be comfortable developing expertise in new processes, areas of knowledge, technologies and software applications in short time frames
  • Must be comfortable in working in an environment which is sometimes ambiguous
  • Must have advanced Excel skills
  • Mid to high level experience with HRIS (report writing and analysis of data, high level Excel skills set, experience in overseeing a HRIS implementation of a new system a plus)
  • Mid to high level experience with Benefits (experience in Benefit Plan administration, high level involvement in open enrollment, experience in maintaining and updating the benefit database)
  • Prefer someone with experience in overseeing and administering a company AAP/EEO and Vets 100

Compensation:

$23 - $25 Hourly
