Responsibilities:

A local manufacturing company that specializes in the production of bakery goods is seeking a motivated, energetic, HR Administrative Assistant for their Chaska location.  This person will work closely with the HR Manager and assist with all HR functions.  The primary responsibilities will be in Benefits Administration, Payroll, and Administrative Support – phones, scheduling and preparation for meetings, event planning, etc. The ideal candidate will have an upbeat personality, take initiative to take on tasks without being told, be professional, and creative.

Requirements:

  • Experience in payroll – verifying time entered by employees, make changes, sorting employee time to appropriate manufacturing divisions
  • Experience in benefits administration – able to assist with open enrollment, help employees complete forms, answer benefit related questions
  • 1-2 years Administrative Support – answering phones, scheduling and set up for meetings, greet visitors, compose documents, email correspondence, maintain overall office appearance
  • Ability to perform duties at a fast pace, think outside the box, and take initiative to take on different tasks without being told
  • Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required

Compensation:

$13.50 per hour
