Responsibilities:
Our client is a world-wide corporation based
locally in Minneapolis, MN with over 11,000
employees. Come join this progressive, employee focused leader in
manufacturing
and technology. This position is located in Grinnell, Iowa. There
are 200+ employees that
currently work in Grinnell. It is a union facility. Manage
labor relations and contract administration
responsibilities. Develop safety and
environmental policies and procedures to assure legal compliance for
EPA, OSHA, records and training requirements.
Recruit, interview and select employees for
both hourly and salary positions. Assess employee training needs
and develop and deliver training
programs for all employees. Counsel employees/supervisors
to resolve personal or company related problems, which
affect their performance. Direct the performance
management program for salaried employees. Oversee
EEOC and Affirmative Action compliance. Prepare annual
Human Resources
budget.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business.
Minimum of 7-10 years of Human Resources experience,
including demonstrated success on the
leadership team in a union manufacturing facility. Previous supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing facility. Previous labor and union contract negotiation experience. Must have interpretation experience.Company:
